Summer Shopping

In preparation for a new round of dressing in July, I did a little shopping this morning.

At Target, I found a wide, stretchy black belt. It's very tight, but I think I'm going to like the way it flattens my tummy in certain outfits. We'll see.

But the real finds were at Kmart. They were having a clearance on a lot of their spring/summer clothes (probably in prep for getting fall stuff in soon), and I got three lovely skirts for under $30. I also found a nice heavy gold choker-style necklace. I love the look of chokers.

Here's a look at the skirts as they appear on Kmart's website. The first is from the Jaclyn Smith line; the others from Attention.

The other July outfits will come from my "collection". You'll start seeing all this next week.

Men We'd Love to See Feminized, Week 3

Hugh Jackman

Last in June, Part Two

For my second outfit today, I pulled out the "schoolgirl" top and paired with the checked straight skirt. My original intention was to wear the knee socks with this...but I discovered they're still in storage. So I tried something a little more daring--bare legs and my frilly socks. Does it work?

I'm really pleased with the pose in that last shot. The angle of the leg works so well and looks so sexy!

More pics on Flickr and poll results coming later!

Bewildered in Bows

As a break between photography postings, here's the latest cartoon:

Last of June, Part One

This is my last day of dressing for the month...and I managed to get in two sessions, so there will be two postings.

For the first, I wore the gray-and-white t-shirt dress, white hose and red baby-doll pumps. I think this may be my most successful posing session with this dress. Here are the best three shots:

The rest are on Flickr and the second batch will be posted later today.

In Memoriam: Farrah Fawcett, 1947-2009

After a long bout with cancer, actress and pin-up Farrah Fawcett has died at 62. Though, of the original Charlie's Angels, I was most impressed by Kate Jackson, no one who wanted to look like a beautiful woman in the 1970s could ignore Farrah. She was a symbol of wholesome sexuality for the time.

Condolences to her family, her long-time love, Ryan O'Neal, and her many fans.

Dear Abby

From today's column:

WIFE DREAMS OF DRESSING HUSBAND IN LACY LINGERIE

DEAR ABBY: My husband and I recently watched a comedy that featured men cross-dressing. Ever since, I have had a burning desire to have my husband wear sexy lingerie and makeup.

There is nothing effeminate about him, but I can't get this out of my head. I bought him a lacy bra and panty set, garter belt and stockings, but I haven't had the nerve to ask him to wear them. Am I crazy? Should I try to forget this? -- BURNING DESIRE IN NAHANT, MASS.

DEAR BURNING: Human sexuality is complicated. There are many women who help their husbands cross-dress, however it is my understanding that the initiator is usually the man. I don't think you are crazy, nor do I think you should "forget" something that you describe as a "burning desire." What I do think you should do is have a frank discussion with your husband and find out how open-minded he is on the subject.

Why do these women never seem to be married to someone who'd appreciate it?

Men We'd Love to See Feminized, Week 2

Leonardo diCaprio

Vote totals were somewhat heavier this week; perhaps this contest just needs time to catch on.

Uptown Girl

I'm no Christie Brinkley, but I had a lot of fun making this one work:

Blonde and Pink

I managed to get a dressing session in today after all. Here's my very comfortable jersey dress from Kmart, with the new very pink pumps from Payless. Do they work together? I think the pink shoes add a splash of color...your opinion?

And here's a closeup of the new shoes:

More pics on Flickr...and a new video coming up, too.

Magazine Cover #3

This one's not me--obviously--but my friend Andrea, whose blog can be found in the list at the right.

Mag Cover #2

This time, I was able to find a relatively clean version of Vogue's logo to play with. And since Vogue invariably uses portraits for its covers, so did I.

Mag Cover #1

Though I didn't get to dress, I still wanted to play around some with images...so I decided to work up a fake magazine cover. I started by looking at a couple of the sites online that let you do this with "real" magazines, but I felt they didn't give enough ability to manipulate the image once it was uploaded.

That meant doing it all on my own...which I did. All the typography on this image was done by yours truly.

Anybody want me to make them into a cover girl? Just ask!

No Dressing for a while

I had planned to dress and do a photo shoot today...but those plans have gone out the window. My cell phone has suddenly begun acting up and I need to get it taken care of.

And I won't be able to dress next week at all because elder son is coming home for the week.

It never rains but it pours.

Men We'd Love to See Feminized, Week 1

Ben Affleck

I'm a little concerned at how low the voting was on this poll...only a third or so of the average vote totals in the old "Women We'd Love to Be" contest. If things are this light all month, I may have to consider a different idea.

Sissy Yardwork

Want to do something daring, in a sissy-ish kind of way? Go out to mow the lawn in something girly. I just did.

Granted, it was just my frilly socks and my black patent kitten-heels, but still. If my yard were just a bit more private (there's no fence between the yards, just bushes), I'd go with a girly top of some kind.

Still, my sissy-cock is still just a little hard from the excitement.

Lounging in Pants III

Just a couple more...actually both are from the same shot. The portrait is blown up and edited differently, giving myself my fantasy green eyes....

More photo shoot next week--either the gray and white minidress or the brown jersey dress.

Lounging in Pants II

More shots from today's session in those gorgeous orange pants.

I'm trying very hard to have more feminine poses and gestures in these pics. Is it working?

I have five more shots from today still to work on and post. There are more on Flickr as well.

Lounging in Pants

Every time I post some pics in these pants, I get compliments here and on Flickr. They really are both beautiful and comfortable.

One of the things I love about them is the way the heels seem to peek out from under the cuffs. It looks like a very feminine "tease".

I should note that, as of yesterday, I have more than 150,000 views on the Flickr site, and more than 2000 views just today. (I think I have to thank a couple of visitors who went through and looked at every single picture on the photostream earlier today.)

Paying the Tutor

I'm really proud of this one...It came out just as I envisioned it.

The Man I'd Love...

..to See Feminized.

The new poll/contest starts today.

Taking the Weekend Off

This is probably my last post until, at the earliest, late Sunday night. We're taking a family trip starting Friday morning and I'm working most of the day tomorrow.

How much dressing I do next week is still up in the air, because I won't know my schedule until, again, Sunday evening at the earliest. I'd like to get at least one session in.

Monday I will post the first poll in the new "Man We'd Love to See Feminized" contest.

Blonde Beauty

So, here are the portraits in the new blonde wig:

One of the things that surprised me about this wig is that, for the first time, I have a wig without bangs (or fringe, as the Brits call them). I've always like the way bangs frame my eyes and face, yet this one seems quite attractive as well.

More pics on Flickr.

Spring Florals

More experimentation--I set up a different backdrop for the photos this morning...an old set of sheets with something of a "jungle" motif. I hope they work.

This is also my first set of pics with the new blonde wig, more on that momentarily.

I've always been a brunette naturally--though now with a fair sprinkling of gray. My fantasy femme image of myself has always been a redhead--just a thing for the carrot-tops, I guess. My several attempts at blonde have never been satisfactory...until now.

As a brunette or redhead, I always think I bear a strong resemblance to my mother, as I do in male appearance. But seeing myself in this more natural blonde color and style, I see a surprising resemblance to my older sister, the only natural blonde in my immediate family. All the women on my father's side of the family--and my sister is definitely one of them--are startingly similar. Perhaps if I'd been born female, I would have fit right in.

More pics on Flickr, and some portrait shots in the new wig later today.

First Dressing of June

Here's some still shots of the outfit I wore in the video previously posted...worn with fishnets and the black mary-jane pumps.

BTW, the previous posting with the video was my 600th since I began this blog late in 2008.

I wanted to post that video to either Flickr or Photobucket for wider circulation, but neither will let me do it, for differing reasons. Flickr has my whole account rated as "restricted" (I gather they object to some parts of the artwork postings) and they don't allow restricted video; Photobucket refused based on (I assume) the copyrighted nature of the soundtrack.

Anyway, more pics from this session are on Flickr and I hope to get in another session tomorrow, this time with the new blonde wig.

How Lovely to Be a Woman

I promised some surprises as I worked on new stuff this week and here's the first. I've been playing around with the video option on my camera and Windows Movie Maker. For the following video, I'm wearing a translucent mask, since I can't do the usual digital magic on my face. I think I still have to work on being more graceful...what do you think?

I'll have some photography of this outfit later today.

Shopping again

I went sissy shopping for the first time in several weeks this morning and came away with a nice load of goodies.

My first stop was Bliss Avenue. It's a chain run by the same company that does the seasonal Halloween Adventures costume stores; it's open year-round and carries the sexier costume stuff as well as lots of very sexy lingerie and shoes.

There I found the following:

a new blonde wig (shorter, straighter and a bit darker than the old one--it's a honey blonde with highlights). Paid $37 for it (most I've ever paid for a wig, but I think it'll be worth it).

black petticoats--real ones, not just crinolines. I have an idea for these beyond my maid and schoolgirl skirts.

maribou bedroom mules--I've been looking for these to wear when I have my nightgowns on (especially for photo sessions) for ages; finally found a pair in my size!

Second stop was Payless, just to browse. Glad I went--found a gorgeous, sexy pair of pink patent pumps for just $10 on clearance. They're a bit big (11W instead of my usual 11), but for photos they'll be sensational!

I plan to get in two dressing/photo sessions this week, so you'll see some of this stuff in the next couple of days.

For those interested, here's a link to Bliss Avenue's website. If there's one near you, I recommend it--if the girl at my local store is any indication, they're very CD friendly.

The New "Pageant"

Beginning a week from today, the new poll to replace "Women We'd Love to Be"--

"Men We'd Love to See Feminized"

I'll give you the names of four male celebrities, and you vote on which one you'd like to turned into a girl. Then I'll do a feminized portrait of the "winner". Eventually, we'll get a list of ten finalists...and then an ultimate "Man We'd Love to See Feminized."
