Last Week in January 5

This is the outfit from Wednesday morning...my absolute fave dress from Kmart's Jaclyn Smith line. Everything about this dress is right on me--the bust line, the waist, the hem length.

I wore it that day with gold jewelry, taupe hose and the black pumps with metal heels.

Additional pics on Flickr; I hope to have shots of the final outfit from this week posted by Monday.

Taking Inventory

Because I was trying to figure out what to wear next week and in the weeks to come, I took an actual inventory of my wardrobe yesterday and came away quite astounded. Remember this has all been acquired in just over two years!

14 dresses (had been 15, but I gave one to Goodwill because I decided it was too small)
1 suit (had been 3, but I gave two away as not really attractive)
24 blouses, sweaters or tops
18 skirts
3 pants
1 jacket
4 two-piece ensembles (which can be mixed and matched with other items, of course)
27 pairs of shoes (2 bought just today!)

For the record, the shoes break down this way:
6 red
1 blue
6 black
2 pink (different shades)
1 white
4 neutral (beige or suchlike)
1 gray
2 brown
1 purple
1 orange
1 green

7 fabric (including satin)
10 patent leather
4 pattern or print

What's YOUR wardrobe like?

Last Week in January 4

The second outfit on Tuesday was an old favorite--my brown jersey shirt-style dress from Kmart's Attention line.

I dressed it up with a scarf, black and silver jewelry, white belt, taupe hose, and the brown plaid mary-janes.

Here's a portrait from this photo session as well:

Additional pics are on Flickr. I'll try to post today's photo sessions by tomorrow.

Reporter Goes Femme

Believe it or not, this is the cover story on the Philadelphia Daily News today:

Pumped up...and ball-gowned too, my day as a cross-dresser in A.C.

... I found myself in a Boardwalk Hall dressing room last Thursday afternoon being feminized by Millie Tate, owner of Millie's Jewelry in Ventnor City, and, apparently, a favorite among Shore transvestites.

As she started the 90-minute or so process by shaving my chest (so my gown would lie smooth) Tate - whose husband, "Louise," has been a public cross-dresser for years - noted that male transvestites are typically straight, not gay.

Among the dozens of men she's worked with, there have been "judges, lawyers, boxers and hockey players," all of whom were heterosexual, she said.

Reporter Chuck Darrow will be chatting with the public about all this at 11AM ET today, and I intend to look in on that chat. And here's a video recording his transformation:

The chat archive can be viewed here.

Last Week in January 3

Today's first outfit is the black polka-dot blouse from Wal-Mart paired with one of my fave skirts--the black straight, short one.

Accessories include white hair bow, pearl and silver jewelry, red belt, nude hose, and black patent pumps.

And I tried another portrait:

Additional pics on Flickr; second outfit probably won't be posted until tomorrow.

Last Week of January 2

This is the second outfit I wore on Monday...a new blouse from the Lee Riders line (bought at Wal-Mart) and those lovely, feminine palazzo pants from Kmart.

Accessories include gold jewelry and bone faux-snake pumps.

Additional pics on Flickr; today's outfits to be posted later.

Last Week of January 1

Here's the first posting for dressing in the last week of January. There's nothing new here except some of the jewelry...

T-shirt is from the Norma Kamali line sold at Wal-Mart; skirt is from Kmart's Attention line.

Accessories are blue hair bow, silver and black jewelry, taupe hose, and blue spike-heeled pumps (from Target).

I also decided to take a shot at another portrait. This is a crop of the largest size of one of the full-length pics and then edited for greater detail on the digital improvements.

More pics on Flickr and another outfit to be posted later; I plan on dressing tomorrow and Wednesday as well!

Poll Returns

The latest poll is now up. Things should be on track from now on.

Am I Hot? 2

So I uploaded a different picture, a blonde one this time, to see what the results would be:

Seems the Hot or Not crowd prefers me as a brunette. Later this week I'll give them a redhead to judge.

Finally...conclusion

Here's the final outfit from Thursday's dressing session. Both the red satin blouse and the polka-dot skirt are from Wal-Mart. (The skirt has a matching blouse, which you'll see later this week.)

Accessories include some new jewelry--the choker necklace with the round pendant and a nice chunky bracelet. Other jewelry is also gold. On the legs and feet are nude hose and red baby-doll pumps.

Additional pics on Flickr; more dressing this week.

Finally...continued

Here's the second outfit from Thursday...it's from Target's Exhilaration line (meant for juniors!). I liked the detail of the big buttons on the front. The skirt is shorter than I thought...I may have to take to wearing pantyhose sometimes, because too many skirts are showing the stocking tops these days. I like looking a little sexy, but this may be too much!

Accessories are red hairband, gold jewelry including a new collar-type necklace and heavy bracelet, black hose, and poppy-pink spike-heeled pumps, that are a surprisingly good match to the dress.

Additional pics on Flickr and I may get the third set of pictures up tonight.

Finally....

...managed to find time to dress and take pictures today! Hurrah!

First up is this very June Cleaver shirt dress, with buttons all the way up the front and a tie belt. It's from Target's Merona line.

Accessories are black hairband, pearl, black and silver jewelry, white hose and black chunky heel pumps.

Oh--and I may have figured out why so many things I bought earlier this month were too small...I'd made my boobs too big! Last time I filled the balloons, I must have overdone it. I worked it out when I tried this dress on--it's an XXL and it was still too tight across the bust. I knew that simply wasn't possible, so I scrapped the false jugs I'd been using and put together a new set.

More outfits later (though maybe not posted until tomorrow) and additional pics on Flickr.

Men We'd Like to See Feminized--Round 2, Week 9

Hugh Grant

[Because this is posting so late, I'm delaying the next round of polling until Monday, Jan. 25.]

Cursed, I Say, Cursed

I must have somehow offended the gods of technology recently. After my computer died on Friday, my internet connection went out on Monday morning...and I just got it back this afternoon.

Then I called the computer repair place...and my computer is unrepairable, so I'm stuck working on the back-up until I can get a new one.

Anyway, I'm back on line for the moment. I hope to get back to dressing next week.

Struggling to Make Plans

My plan, as of last night, was to get in at least two, maybe three dressing days in the week of 1/18, with photography, and post it all here and on Flickr. But late last night, my computer went blooey--I warn you all to look out for a malware called "Internet Security 2010".

So now my main computer is in the shop being cleaned of that shit, and I'm working on a backup (thank heaven for kids who leave their old machines at home when they upgrade!). A lot will depend on whether I can get the requisite image editing software loaded on this computer in time.

I may still take the pics...just not be able to do anything with them until I get the main computer back next week.

Post-Holiday Dressing...5

The original plan was to pair this navy blue straight skirt with a new pink-striped blouse from the Lee Riders line. Both were purchased at Kmart. But the blouse turned out to be too tight...perhaps I picked up the wrong size.

Anyway, I subbed in a white blouse I already had and added the pink scarf.

Additional accessories are the pink hair bow, black chunky jewelry, knee socks and pink pumps.

Sorry for the delay in posting these...more pics on Flickr and more new outfits (and some oldies) next week.

Post-Holiday Dressing...4

I bought this skirt at Kmart a few weeks ago...it was on clearance, obviously left over from the summer stock. I liked its details of the big buttons and the tie belt. I realized I really didn't have a top to go with it and later bought the purple drape-collar top you see here.

Nice cleavage in that last shot, huh? And it's not digital...the bra just pushed things into the right place. Accessories here are white hair bow, silver jewelry, nude hose and purple pumps.

More pics on Flickr. I did another photo session today, but those pics probably won't post until tomorrow.

Post-Holiday Dressing....3

This is the jacket/skirt combo bought at Burlington Coat Factory. Turns out the jacket's a little small to fit over my 44-C jugs adequately...but the deep V caused by that, combined with the black lace cami I chose to wear under it, makes a nice sexy, womanly effect, as you can tell from the third picture.

Someday I'll have to try this with a set of smaller knockers.

Accessories are red hair band, black hose, gold jewelry and red t-strap pumps.

More pics on Flickr, more new clothes tomorrow.
